ISO 9001:2000 Machining and Fabrication of Precision Parts and Assemblies
ISO Certified Since 1996
ISO 9001:2000 is more than a quality system, it's an operational management system that affects everyone in the organization.
There are two reasons for this. First, it focuses attention on processes and procedures, and second, it provides a consistently high level of quality for customers.
The basis for registration to ISO 9001:2000 is the audit of our procedures and practices to determine compliance to the ISO 9001:2000 standard by a recognized independent auditor.
In simplest terms, an ISO 9001:2000 compliant system must address all of these elements in writing, and also in practice. Otherwise, first say what you do, and then provide evidence that you do what you say.
The intent of ISO 9001:2000 is to judge all parts of the organization that affect product quality and customer satisfaction, from the initial phone contact to the shipment of finished product.
As ISO 9001:2000 is most often seen in process manufacturing, the batch production and contract manufacturing structure presented some unique challenges. It was necessary to generate procedures that maintained flexibility and customer satisfaction for all customers.
